Else automation received an order to migrate an existing ABB Masterview by the ABB 800xA System for the plant EMS Dottikon at the beginning of the year.
EMS Dottikon is a producer of Fine Chemicals and Organic intermediates.
We are pleased to announce that the project has started at the beginning of April. Two of our engineers, Thierry Klein and Patrick Boetsch are involved in this project. If necessary Nicolas Muller will also support the project team.

We are pleased to announce with a little delay that two news employees have joined the company this year.
- Laurent Freund joined Else Automation at the beginning of the year. Since February he works for a migration project at CHSEM Lenzburg. The project consists of a replacement of an old Sattcon control and visualization system by an ABB AC800 & 800xa System.
- Arnaud Broncel joined Else Automation at the beginning of April. He started at once a project for ABB PASS. He works on a modernization project of a control system for an oil platform in North Sea (Norway). The project name is BP VALLHALL.

We are glad to communicate that the Headquarter of the company has moved from Allschwill to Birsfelden.
The environment of the new offices is very pleasant.

For a couple of weeks we have integrated a ELSE Automation engineer in the project Authentication Features for Novartis in Basle (Werk rosendal).At this occasion a partnership with Novartis Basle was established. Novartis Basle is a new costumer for us and we hope that this collaboration will be healthy, durable and profitable.

We are pleased to announce that Christophe Schueller joined the ELSE Automation team in August 2007.
Christophe has passed his probation period now and will continue to work on the IWB-Basel project during the coming months, where he is supporting our team with display engineering on the ABB IndustrialIT - 800xA System

ELSE Automation received an order to migrate the existing ABB Advant Operator Station 500 by the ABB 800xA System for the incineration plant Cridor in La Chaux-de-Fonds (KVA Cridor).

This project is executed in cooperation with AMICS SA. The basic engineering is conducted by ELSE Automation and the detail engineering by AMICS.

After more than 6 months hardware Engineering and approximately 1000 pages
schematics, we controlled the manufacturing of 49 electrical cabinets.
These cabinets will be sent in Barcelona at the beginning of May, and our
engineer Thierry KLEIN will go to the plant to coordinate the assembly.

For a couple of months we have integrated ELSE Automation engineers in the project MIACER 25 for Novartis in Basle.At this occasion a partnership with the company ABB and ETAVIS was established.
ETAVIS is a new customer for us and we hope that this collaboration will be healthy, durable and profitable.

After a two weeks training session in Paris we are pleased to announce that Franck REY has been qualified to work with the Siemens PCS7 control system. He will be able to practice his new skills in the MAB project at Roche Basel, in collaboration with the company CTE.
