Baxter BioScience intends to erect a new downstream purification facility for the isolation of the recombinant von Willebrand Factor (rVWF) at its Advate (Factor VIII) production site in Neuchatel.
The facility has to comply with Swiss, EU, US and FDA regulations and guidelines for the Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products.
ELSE is working on that project on the behalf of Ingenus (www.ingenus.ch) and in collaboration with Chemgineering (www.chemgineering.com)
